Export packing for cardboard cat products

Export

The carton is agreed before bulk is cut.

Export packing for cardboard cat products is agreed before bulk is cut. When the shape allows it, pieces ship flat or nested. Carton marks, barcodes, and retail inserts are prepared with the order. Trade terms can be EXW, FOB, or DDP.

  • Branded cat scratcher cartons lining a long export aisle, packed and waiting for the next outbound load.

    The export aisle

Branded cartons wait at the factory for the destination you name with the sample.

  • Scratcher rings flat-packed in open cartons, nested so more product ships in less space.

    Flat or nested

Rings and panels nest in open cartons when the structure allows, so more units fit the same cube.

  • The packing team loading scratchers into export cartons, each box staged for a clean count and a safe ship.

    Counted into the carton

Scratchers are loaded at the factory. The count is staged before marks, barcodes, and inserts go on.

  • Stretch wrap locking export pallets of finished scratcher cartons for a stable trip out of the plant.

    Stretch wrap

Stretch wrap locks the export pallets after the checks, before the load leaves the plant.

  • Wrapped export cartons on the racking, held off the floor and ready to pick for shipment.

    Held off the floor

Wrapped cartons stay on the racking until the outbound load is picked.

  • Finished scratcher cartons stacked high for dispatch, pallet after pallet of retail-ready cat furniture.

    Stacked for dispatch

Finished cartons build into pallets of retail-ready cat furniture.

  • Shipping cartons built up for a full load, a solid block of finished cat products in the plant warehouse.

    A full load

Cartons are built up for the outbound shipment you named.

  • Finished goods in a clear dispatch warehouse, pallets aligned for a straightforward export pickup.

    Ready to pick up

Pallets are aligned in the dispatch warehouse for EXW, FOB, or DDP.

Before it leaves

Formed, nested, tested, and wrapped

The pack is proposed with the sample so the carton matches the channel before bulk is cut.

  • Compression tester for export carton strength, pressing sample board the way a stacked shipment will.

    Carton strength

A compression tester presses sample board the way a stacked shipment will.

  • Heat-shrink tunnel giving a corrugated cat scratcher a tight, retail-ready wrap as it leaves the line.

    Retail wrap

A heat-shrink tunnel gives the scratcher a tight wrap as it leaves the line.

  • Patterned scratchers nested in shipping cartons, print protected and counted for dispatch.

    Nested in the carton

Patterned scratchers nest so the print stays protected in transit.

  • An operator running the folder-gluer, forming corrugated cartons for cat furniture.

    Cartons formed

The folder-gluer forms the cartons before they are filled.

  • Folder-gluer running compact cartons, turning flat board into neat packs for cat products.

    Compact cartons

Flat board becomes a neat carton on the gluer line.

  • Turntable taping station sealing and finishing round parts before they join the scratcher line.

    Taped and finished

Round parts are sealed at the taping station before they join the line.

  • Hands building triangular corrugated cat scratchers, a compact shape made to pack flat and spring open at home.

    Built to pack flat

Triangular scratchers are made to pack flat and open at home.

  • Printed board on the move to the next station, kept flat and ready for die-cutting.

    Board to the next station

Printed board stays flat on the way to die-cutting and pack.

Shipping

Five steps from destination to departure

Do this with the sample. The carton is set before bulk is cut.

  1. Name the destination Country, channel, and whether the piece should ship flat or nested. Do this with the sample, not after bulk is cut.
  2. Agree the pack We propose a flat or nested carton that matches the structure and the channel you named.
  3. Stage the marks Carton marks, barcodes, and retail inserts are prepared with the order for that destination.
  4. Inspect IQC, IPQC, and FQC run before the pallet is wrapped. Third-party inspection is welcome on site.
  5. Ship Goods leave the factory under the term you named: EXW, FOB, or DDP.

Quality

Checks before a shipment leaves

These three checks run before an export carton leaves the Shenzhen floor.

IQC
Board is checked before it is fed. Damage and the grade named on the order are the first look, so a bad pallet does not become a blank.
IPQC
While the job is running, the team checks fit against the signed sample, plus moisture and dust. A drift is corrected before that pile becomes cartons.
FQC
Finished goods are checked before the shipment leaves. If you want a third party on that lot, name the lot and the date.

Before you brief us

Cartons, terms, and inspection

Short answers buyers copy into a sourcing note. The first sentence of each answer is the conclusion.

Can the goods ship flat?

When the structure allows it, yes. Many modular and panel items ship flat or nested, which cuts carton volume. Tell us the destination with the sample so the pack is proposed before bulk. See export packing.

Which trade terms do you ship on?

EXW, FOB, or DDP. Tell us the destination and which term you want, and the quote uses that term. Name it on export packing.

What goes on the export carton?

Carton marks, barcodes, and retail inserts for the destination you name with the sample. They are agreed before the cartons are closed. Plan them on export packing.

Can a third party inspect before shipment?

Yes. Third-party inspection is welcome on site, alongside IQC, IPQC, and FQC. Name the inspector when the order is confirmed. The checkpoints are on Factory.

How do you pack for export or FBA?

Wrap, moisture control, and a stronger master carton, matched to retail, wholesale, or FBA. Labels and carton marks are confirmed before bulk. For FBA, fix the selling unit while it is still a sample. Details are on export packing.

When does flat-pack actually save freight?

When the structure can go flat or nested. The saving depends on the SKU and the freight mode, so ask for a packing plan with the sample. A rigid house or a tall post will not always fold. See export packing.

When are barcodes and carton marks confirmed?

With the sample, before bulk is cut. Marks, barcodes, and any retail insert are applied for the destination you name. A barcode that arrives after final inspection means a relabel. See export packing.

How should an FBA shipment be planned?

Decide the selling unit, the barcode, and the carton count while the piece is still a sample. Petaful then packs to that plan instead of relabeling after FQC. See export packing.
