What is the difference between a logo change and a structure change? Copy link
A logo change keeps the approved dieline and swaps the art. A structure change moves the cut, the opening, or the packed size, and needs a new structure sample. Both are on OEM and ODM.
Can the carton art differ from the product print? Copy link
Yes. The product face and the carton can carry different graphics. Send both files after the structure is set so they are checked on the same sample. See export packing.
Do you accept AI and EPS files? Copy link
Yes. PDF, AI, and EPS are the print files. Send them after the structure is agreed. Notes are on OEM service.
Can I change only the colorway? Copy link
Yes. A second colorway on an approved structure is an artwork change. Confirm it on a sample before the seasonal or everyday bulk. See OEM and ODM.
Is a brand-new shape OEM or ODM? Copy link
A shape that starts from your drawing is OEM. A shape that starts from a mold on the floor, even with a size tweak, is ODM. If you are unsure, send the sketch and sales will name the path on contact.
Can you follow a retailer artwork template? Copy link
Yes. Send the retailer’s template with the dieline. Petaful lays the product print and the carton art into that template and checks both on the sample. See OEM service.
What should the first email include? Copy link
The product idea or a photo, the market, a quantity range, and whether you have a drawing. A budget helps the first quote. Send it via contact.
Can you prototype a modular set? Copy link
Yes. R&D builds the modules, checks how they lock, and samples the set before artwork. Design drawings are usually ready in 3 days. See ODM service.
Is the first structure look part of sampling? Copy link
On OEM, the structure is sampled before the official sample. That official sample is usually ready in 5–7 days after structure and artwork are agreed, and it is free for new customers. The sequence is on OEM service.
Can we move from ODM to OEM later? Copy link
Yes. Many programs start on an in-house mold, then move to a buyer-owned dieline once the line is proven. The new dieline gets its own structure sample. See OEM and ODM.
