Who this policy covers
Petaful is the controller of this website. The factory is in Longgang, Shenzhen, Guangdong. This policy explains the personal information we collect from visitors and from people who contact us about products, samples, or orders, why we use it, and the choices you have.
It applies to this website and to messages you send us from it, including by email, phone, or WhatsApp. It does not change the terms of a separate contract, purchase order, or non-disclosure agreement.
If a law in your country gives you a stronger right than this page, that law applies to you.

Information we collect
We collect personal information only for the business purposes below. We do not ask you to create a customer account to browse this site.
| What | Examples | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Details you send us | Name, company, email, phone, country, message, product interest, and files such as artwork or specifications | To answer you, prepare a quote or sample, and carry out an order |
| Technical logs | IP address, browser type, pages requested, and the date and time of the request | To run the website and protect it from misuse |
| Feedback cookie | A yes or no vote on a blog note, stored in your browser | To count that vote once from the same browser |
| Pages opened with an inquiry | The page address, the page title, and how long that tab stayed open, for a browser that sends an inquiry | So a reply can follow the products you already looked at |
You can browse the site without sending us your name or email. If you contact us, please do not include information we do not need for the inquiry, such as government ID numbers or payment card details.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Reply to inquiries and manage quotes, samples, and orders
- See which pages were open in the browser that sent an inquiry, so the reply can refer to them
- Keep ordinary business records of those conversations
- Operate, secure, and fix this website
- Meet a legal duty, such as a tax, accounting, or official request
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for third-party advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles from your visits.
Why we may use it
Depending on the situation, we rely on one of these reasons:
- A contract with you or your company, or steps you ask us to take before a contract, such as a quote or a sample
- Legitimate interests: answering a business inquiry, keeping basic records, and protecting the website. You can object to a use based on this reason.
- Consent, where we ask for it. You can withdraw consent later. That does not undo a use that was already lawful.
- A legal obligation
Cookies
As of the date at the top of this page, this website does not use third-party analytics cookies or advertising cookies. We do not read or change click identifiers that an ad service may add to the address you opened.
This website stores a cookie only after you do something on the page: a vote on a blog note, or an inquiry. Choosing Reject on the cookie notice does not stop the inquiry record. The cookies are:
| Cookie | What it stores | How long |
|---|---|---|
petaful_helpful_ plus the article number |
Whether this browser voted yes or no. It does not contain your name or email. | 7 days |
petaful_lead |
A random code for one inquiry. It does not contain your name or email. The page script cannot read it. The cookie notice cannot switch it off. | 90 days |
The blog cookie is set only after you click Yes or No. The inquiry cookie is set only after an inquiry is stored, so later pages in that browser can be added to the same message. Pages already open in that tab are sent with the form. If you never send the form, those pages stay in the tab and are not stored here. The inquiry cookie is not sent to Google, Meta, or another advertising service.
Rejecting the cookie notice leaves this inquiry record on. Blocking or deleting cookies in the browser settings is different: the inquiry still goes through, including pages open before you send it, and pages you open afterwards are not added. A later vote on a blog note may be counted again.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only as far as needed for the reasons in this policy:
- The company that hosts this website, so the site can run and logs can be kept for security
- Email or messaging services we use to receive and reply to you
- WhatsApp, if you choose to message us there. That conversation is also handled under WhatsApp’s own terms.
- Professional advisers, such as accountants or lawyers, when the business needs them
- Authorities or other parties when the law requires it
- A buyer of the business, if the company or this website is sold, under the same limits described here
When you follow a link away from this site, including to WhatsApp or a social network, that service’s policy applies to what you do there. We do not control those sites.
International transfers
Our factory and this website are operated from Shenzhen, China. If you contact us from another country, the information you send is received and kept there.
Some service providers may process information in other countries. Where a transfer needs a legal safeguard, we put that safeguard in place before we rely on the transfer.
How long we keep information
- Inquiry and order records are kept for the business relationship, and then for as long as tax, accounting, or legal-claim rules require. If there is no order, we keep the inquiry long enough to answer it and for a reasonable follow-up, then delete it or reduce it to what we must keep.
- Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting, then deleted or reduced.
- The blog feedback cookie expires after 7 days. The inquiry cookie expires after 90 days. The list of pages is kept with the inquiry and removed when that inquiry is deleted.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- Provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Delete information when the law allows it
- Restrict or object to certain uses, including uses based on legitimate interests
- Receive information you provided, in a portable format, where the law gives that right
- Withdraw consent where a use depends on consent
You can also complain to a data-protection authority in your country. We aim to reply to a privacy request within 30 days. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you before we act on it.
We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you by automated means alone.
Children
This website is for business buyers. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use access limits and ordinary technical safeguards appropriate to a business website. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We post changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will also give any extra notice the law requires.
How to contact us
Privacy requests go to Petaful at the address and phone on this page.
